ARCHIVES San Fernando Road  May 2007 previous archive archive home next archive ________________________________________________________________________ This month's collection reflects two contrasting parts of L.A. that seem worlds away from each other. In between scenes from Griffith Park, overlooking the city high above the skyline, are images from the forgotten industrial wasteland that is San Fernando Road. The stretch from Atwater Village (my home) to Downtown is where I took these while on a late afternoon bike ride. Though less than five miles apart from each other, these two neighborhoods are vastly different and both unique in their own ways. Exploring them has always been exciting.
